The Book
We are building a limited-edition, hardcover Shop Deck Showdown book. This is more than just a recap of a contest or a trade show; it is a permanent archive created to preserve the creativity, identity, story, and contribution behind each shop’s deck.
To honor the origins of this project while giving every shop its proper shine, the book will be laid out in three distinct sections:
The May Trade Show: Shops that attended the Las Vegas event and dropped off their decks in person.
Original Entrants: Shops that entered the original Showdown but couldn’t attend the show and mailed their decks in.
New Additions: New shops that are entering now during our official mail-in extension.
The Shop Deck Showdown Annual was created for one reason: to celebrate the brick-and-mortar shops that form the backbone of skateboarding. We’re here to honor your creativity, your story, and your contribution to the culture by immortalizing your shop’s deck in a limited-edition, hardcover book.
How to Enter Your Shop
We want to make sure every shop gets a shot at being included. Because we know stepping away from the shop to travel to a trade show isn’t always possible, we have officially reopened submissions.
To be included in the book, you must submit your physical shop deck.
Step 1: Register your shop by filling out the official submission form
Step 2: Box up your physical shop deck.
Step 3: Ship your board as soon as possible to our headquarters:

Step 4: Email us your tracking number so we can confirm it is on the way, and let us know if you want your board donated to the Hall of Fame or returned to you.

What are we doing with the decks? Good question!
We are incredibly proud to announce that all shop decks collected for this project will be donated to the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum. Your shop’s board will become a permanent piece of preserved skateboarding history.
Note to Shops: If you prefer to keep your deck, we are happy to return it to you once the project is complete, provided you cover the cost of return postage.
